Glass Domes for the Babies

Two of the hand blown glass Domes that Bobby made for me to put the Fetish Fetishs in once they are finished.
Up to 5 now and putting on the details, I will bronze two test ones to figure out the eyes.

The 2nd Annual Menagerie Benifit for the SPCA

When invited to exhibit at Modern Eden for the SPCA Menagerie Exhibition I was asked to create a piece with an animal in it. I thought about the disconnect that exists between man and animal and how it is this disconnect that allows us to over look the treatment of animals. But the disconnect is only an illusion. We are connected on this planet as if in a womb. We only need to really look to see. I have attached us in the most literal since as fetus's in the womb living off of one cord. On one side is drawn the human on the other the animal. While one can see the existence of the other if we look. It is only by waking to the whole that we fully see both and the cord that connects, if it is broken we both suffer. 

The three first wax babies...

The first was hard to remove and required a little surgery, but they have gotten easier.
Two may go back in the pot I need three perfect ones to start.
