Ok they have been poured, pictures of that to come. These are the first shots of the ceramic shell removed.

The next photos are of the sprues removed and more shell removed....Day 1

I was so relieved that all of Shiva poured!

Finished grinding down all sprue stubs...day 2.  Going to have a little repair welding work.
After that sandblasting wirewheel and patina.

First in the Series Fetus Fetish. I still need a base.

My Exquisite Corpse

This is the drawing (Body parts) I had to work with for my Exquisite Corpse from the group Tuesday Nights. This year I decided I wanted to do a little Claymation. The Head was a drawing From Artist Antonia Cosentino. I'm not sure who drew the other parts. It just read as a story to me. I used all the parts: A head, a match, a Hydrant, a wrench, a shovel and pipes.

Altar for Exquisite Corpse Exhibition

Since Tuesday Nights was doing Altars to Saints real or imagined for the Exquisite Corpse show, I thought I would do one for the mother of all Saints Mere De Dieu.
It just seemed to me after reading about so many of these Saints and their Martyring, along with all the punishments passed out to mankind "supposedly" with Gods permission, what was really needed was the female face of God the face of compassion. In the end she had no face, but was forever wounded.

Pouring to more Fetus' tonight

Tonight I'm pouring two more bronzes in the series called Fetus Fetish.
At this point there are 4 ready to go.
Just pouring 2 because they need to be good and hot when poured.
